Sebastian Darrington has worked in the storage industry for over fifteen years, during which time he has gained much experience in this field working with IT manufacturers and System Integrators in technical consulting and sales lead positions. Excelling in the field of storage specialisation Sebastian has evolved into a leading hybrid, whose expert opinion on storage related matters, has often been coveted by editors of both online and traditional IT industry press.
Sebastian’s previous roles have included Head of Technical Strategy at storage consulting firm Source Consulting and the EMEA Technical Practice Head at VERITAS, where he was responsible for developing and selling strategic storage services.
Sebastian joined specialist data protection solutions provider, Kashya in 2004. Following EMC’s acquisition of Kashya in early 2006 Sebastian has continued to champion EMC technologies for EMEA, including heterogeneous WAN replication and storage virtualisation. Sebastian’s key product groups include EMC RecoverPoint and EMC VPLEX – for virtualised and Cloud, infrastructures.
